Age: 19
Stance: Goofy, 20.5 inches wide, 14 degree angle on my front foot and negative 14 on my back.
Hometown: El Dorado Hills, California
Where I live now: Bend, Oregon
Favorite kind of riding: Surprisingly, the 08/09 season was my first season I really got to see what riding in the pow was really like and in my opinion I think it is the most fun type of riding. I can just go out and have a great time with all my friends and no matter how soaked or cold I am at the end of the day, I can still say I had the best day of riding.
Influences: My main influence is Marie-France Roy. She kills it whether she is hitting urban features, dropping cliffs, riding pow or even playing around on park features. I am also influenced by any other girls I see up on the mountain riding hard, because it makes me want to get that much better at riding. I have a mind set that if she can do it, so can I!
Other sponsors: Betty Rides, CandyGrind, and Essi Eyewear
Reason I started boarding: First time ever on a snowboard was up at Cooper Spur on Mt Hood, Oregon. My family and I decided we wanted to see what this whole snowboarding thing was all about so we went up there for the day, rented some gear and just goofed around on a rope toe. By the end of the day my body hurt so bad from falling so many times, but I still did not want to stop snowboarding. I was hooked on the sport after that day!
What board I ride: Vixen 144
Something you don’t know or something interesting about me: I am going to school at COCC to get my Outdoor Recreation Leadership degree and I want to be an event planner for a resort some day! On my free time, I am getting exercise anyway I can whether it is from playing tennis or riding my bike around Bend.
